L-5 News!! was wonderful and had great Dr Timothy F Leary interviews and participation. This new doc is amazing and coincides with the Chinese and Russians doing their own Space Colonies/Stations/Starships, along with Elon Musk, NASA, Jeff Bezos, Branson, ESA, Japan, etc. I think Japan is planning to build Solar Powered Sats to beam energy to Earth! Leary and Joanna Harcourt-Smith & Company were the first to publish building Colonies, like six months before O’Neill! That was Terra II, a 5,000 peeps Project! Similar to Biosphere II and Paolo Soleri’s 5,000 person Arcosanti! It took over 50+ years for the Commercial Boom! to take off.
In 1977 I sponsored a talk with Tim Leary & Keith Henson at UCSD on the space Colony ideas. Maybe a 1,000 humans showed up. Even videotaped!
